To mark the first anniversary of the Association « Forum des Experts Libanais, » Mrs. Nada Chehab, President of the Association, has gathered renowned speakers with the aim of emphasizing the critical and singular role of Lebanese expertise in Business world.
The symposium « The Lebanese competencies and their contribution to the development of companies worldwide » was held on 22 January 2013 in the French Senate, under the distinguished patronage of Mrs. Christine KAMMERMANN Senator of French nationals living outside France.
Through their history and culture, Lebanese men and women make up a bridge between different nations, especially in the world of Business.
Their ability to adapt, their education, and their multilingual proficiency, fosters synergies to create professional opportunities.

Not limited to « Lebanese », the association enjoys members of different nationalities and sectors striving for excellence in Business.
The aim of the Association:
Based on the strong historical alliances between France and Lebanon coupled with a network of international mutual support, the Forum des Experts Libanais aims
- To promote the establishment and growth of projects and businesses
- To bring together the expertise of excellence and promote the image of Lebanese, their partners, and fields of activities of its members in a shared spirit of mutual support
- To enhance the image of women and promote gender parity.
The Symposium of January 22nd, 2013 :
This symposium, in a spirit of cooperation and exchange, addressed three main topics:
International Trade and how cultural differences are assets in times of globalization and the role of Lebanese’s skills in international development.
In a roundtable led by Mr. Antoine MENASSA, international consultant at Eko Atlantic,
Mr. Mohamed CHOUCAIR represented by Mrs. Marie-Line DAGHER,
Mrs. Claire MARTIN, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and the Renault Foundation,
Mrs. Caroline CHAAR NICOLAU, Director of Ab-jade company
- the important role of the experts for the development of SMEs in the Mediterranean region is expected, testimonials were brought, projects in Lebanon and abroad, among which the project CHAIRE of Renault in Lebanon, or of Eko Atlantic in Nigeria.

Banking Domain
Mr. Fouad TRAD, CEO of Byblos Bank at Brussels, member of our association, known in the banking world through its niche activity: “System Expert” trade finance, already operating in 14 countries. He conveyed the bank’s strengths in Africa and the Middle East, its role to support Lebanese entrepreneurs, Arab importers and European exporters, and shared his thoughts on how to conquer new markets.
Sustainable Development
The roundtable on sustainable development unveiled the project of Mr. Arab HOBALLAH: the only project adopted at the RIO+20. Simple and smart suggestions can put us on track and contribute to the progress of our commitment to sustainable development.
Another banker, Mr. Arnaud BERGER (BPCE), based on the experience of a French bank, highlighted the importance of joining the expert strengths to develop this activity which may be in the future a key driver in the business world.
Mr. Ibrahim EL ALI, was witness to a simple commitment to plant green lands in Lebanon.
Most of the speakers are members of our Association, their know-how and their competencies are a reflexion of this symposium, an international network of quality with a spirit of exchange and mutual support.
The cocktail that followed, allowed the participants and guests continue to share around tasty typical Lebanese cuisine, and exchange business cards for future opportunities.
The next step for the Forum: a new project to fight senior unemployment in France
The added value of our association lies in the know-how, the performance and the self-imposed basic rules. Above all, it is in the profound desire to work for the Lebanese and their partners in France and elsewhere.
The Association hopes to have achieved its goal through this symposium, raise awareness of the contributions of Lebanese in developing enterprises worldwide, and strengthens the links between actors and partners of different backgrounds.
